Kelly Summers Photography – Ashtabula County, Ohio Fair Entries

Every year I try to submit a handful of photos to my local county fair.  They can vary from landscapes, people, fair scenes, color or black and white.  This year I submitted photos from 4th of July over Roaming Shores Lake, some adorable little girls I photographed in a covered bridge and another little girl who discovered her love for horses at a local farm. This was the most successful year I’ve had when it comes to winning ribbons.  Almost all of the photos either got 1st or 2nd place.  I don’t really do it to earn ribbons, I just want to share my view of the beauty around me in our awesome county.

I can’t wait to see what photos I capture for 2016!

Two little sisters walking through the South Denmark Road covered bridge.  Black and White and Color versions.

This was the photo that won Best Overall Color photo at the 2015 Ashtabula County Fair.  I got a Grand Prize Purple Ribbon for this one.

This photo was taken during a session for her 4 year pictures.  This little girl also takes riding lessons here at Village Hill Stables in Andover, Ohio.  Although

she wasn’t in the mood for photos…she was in the mood to visit the horses!  Capturing kids in their natural state…
